Our Journey Begins
Restoring Kenya’s Rich Biodiversity Together
Who We Are
Dedicated to Environmental Restoration and Community Empowerment
Over the years, we have successfully engaged numerous local communities in Kakamega Forest, facilitating the planting of thousands of indigenous trees. These initiatives have not only rejuvenated ecosystems but also created sustainable livelihoods, fostering a collective responsibility towards the environment.
Plants for Life International has made significant strides in reforesting degraded lands, working hand-in-hand with local organisations to restore indigenous flora. Our collaborative efforts have proven essential in preserving Kenya’s unique biodiversity, enhancing habitats for wildlife, and engaging communities in environmental stewardship.
Since our inception, we have established valuable partnerships with various Community-Based Organizations. Through initiatives like the Miti Maalum Programme, we empower individuals to contribute directly to forest restoration, encouraging a personal connection to nature while combating climate change and promoting ecological balance across our regions of operation.
